Ok ok serious note, I actually found a job a few weeks ago which was pretty cool, after a few months of searching, job interviews and no replies, the shenanigans that come with looking for a job. I finally found one. It was a marketing job which was pretty neat, but what I didn't realise was what type or marketing. Going door to door for about 7 hours a day and try market a charity to people.
Well at first I wanted to take the challenge head on. why? because the pay was great! I could have earned over $2000 a week! Also, because I was Australian, the boss wanted me to aim high and run an office for him sometime in the future which would have been pretty neat, not gonna lie.
But it was tedious, again out there for 7 hours, 6 days a week, but i'm out of home from like 9:30am - 10:30pm so Id wake up, go to work, come home, go to sleep and then the one day recovery in which I couldnt do anything. Not even draw even if I tried. And the job really is "You put in 100% of your effort and you might get lucky". ya feel
And not only that this job has resulted me in losing a lot of things. Like My shoes, portable charger, my bag breaking, my whole purse with all my money. And also leaving me with sunburns, blisters on my shoulders and feet. So it wasn't really the best position to be in.
So I took a few days off and I realised that I just don't like the job, it's not for me no matter how much I try to fit it. And not to mention I got to finish a few of my artworks and work on some new ones and I was happy, I was genuinely happy doing it. Not going to lie. So for now i'm going back to where I started and look for a new job, with reasonable hours, a reliable pay and doesn't take too much of my art time.
